recording trk.mutes

having a problem, how u do it?

you go into track mute mode, hit record, and it records your mutes from there.however, it only plays them back while your in track mute mode- when you go back to the main screen it plays back as normal.i'm sure there's a way to edit the mutes- i don't see anything in the new manual about it, i think i remember someone touching on this up here somewhere but i can't find it in the search.

maybe on main go to mute and press window and there switch mute envelope to on?

sorry, no sooner had i typed that i found it- it's in the step editor for anyone who's curious.

What is it then? This is kinda like saying "I know where there's a Million dollars" and not telling you where to go.

after you've recorded the mutes by hitting record while in track mute mode, if you go to the step editor for that track , in addition to the usual info it will say "001.01.00 TRACK:1 MUTE ON"
"001.02.00 TRACK:2 MUTE OFF" ect.
