MPC settings remembered when powered on

I'd like to see a way to be able to toggle certain settings in the MPC so when you turn it on it's ready to go for you.

For example, I would really like to be able to choose a different tempo on start up(around 90 rather that 120 bpm) and be able to have input thru set to "on" right when the mpc boots up.

2.1 lets you have a preset tempo, time sig, # of bars, etc... is that not the case with jj os?

How do you do it in 2.1? and I will try it in jj os.
I saw it in my manual while going through it but lost the page it was on and cant seem to find it again

Yeah I think it did in 2.1, however I would like it to include new parameters for new features (if it ain't in jj os). Like the input thru as I mentioned. Maybe mixer settings too like which pads you may want to keep being routed through a certain out, or whatever.

i wish eq and compresser settings were saved

just set up your mpc how you like it and save the project. when you get to the save window look at the bottom and it says 'a.load' hit the fkey for that and it'll save your current project as an autoload when your mpc turns on. its been like this since i got my machine ;D

when you have your defaults set up, select "seq" and press window, then press user, then save an autoload folder.

Actually just setup the tempo and how many bars you want, then go to seg and hit the window key, then click F3 and set the settings - hit enter and it saves it, no need to autoload or save in autoload..

um, no. actually you're wrong. after you press user it clearly states "pressing do it will memorize setups of this sequence as default setup in .ALL file." unless you save a .ALL file those settings will not appear each time you cut on the machine.

Yes it does.. I tried it.

If you set the tempo and bars and turn the machine off and back on it stays how you set it..

If you set the tempo and bars and turn the machine off and back on it stays how you set it..

wrong again. i just tested it. i changed the tempo from 120 to 122. then i highlight seq, press window, press user, hit do it, and cut off the machine. i turn the machine back on, it ways 120. pressing do it is not the final step, you must save a .ALL file in one way or another before these settings will become default. stop talking out of your ass and try it for yourself.

You dont hit user ! You hit default and change those settings.. And im not talking out of my ass . Follow the right instructions next time.

O yea. This is in os 4.0 also, so if your broke ass is using one of the unpaid for betas then it might be different..

ok that clears it up. you're not paying attention. if you read my original reply it says "2.1 lets you have a preset tempo, time sig, # of bars, etc... is that not the case with jj os?". then you asked me how it was done in 2.1 and i told you. i never said shit about 4.0 and you never asked me shit about 4.0.
