OS 4.0 MODE+11 bug

I haven't checked this on 4.01 yet, but I've already submitted this to the JJ:

1. Power On, Load sequence and Sounds
2. Play Sequence
3. Press MODE+PAD 11 while sequence plays
4. Press MAIN while sequence plays
5. *BUG* Sounds from sequence cut off until the sequence triggers them again

The sounds should play without interruption when going from MODE+PAD 11 to MAIN. This happens everytime I go from the Global parameter screen (MODE+PAD 11) to the MAIN screen while a sequence is playing. Anyone else encounter this?

yyyyyyup. minor inconvenience for studio work, huge inconvenience for live work. this happens sometimes in grid, too - i'll start noting when it happens. not a huge problem but a bug worth knocking out for clarity's sake. good post.

I submitted a report to the JJ site for this problem, for 1.05.

Don't know if my wording was that clear though; I hope other people submit it too.

WTF? You paid for an OS that was tested extensively..and still have bugs??? How can you sing praises for JJ yet dis Akai? How much are they paying you son?

Quickly counting...there were at least 30 bugs reported/confirmed/fixed since the new OS dropped And you are happy with that??? I have some $3 dollar bills I want to give your guys in echange for your $1 bills

ok good cus i got alot of $1 bills ive been meaning to trade..

even with the bugs which jj works very uickly to get rid off its worth the money . 2.1 sucked and akai never listen to cusromers . This os can speed up your work flow by so much the amount of timwe you spend is worth the money

Yes, JJ has quickly fixed the bugs....it appears almost everyday at one point. But WTF? 30 bugs? Everytime they fixed something, they broke something else...and there are still bugs in the OS. How do you find time to create music? How can you say 2.1 suks (earlier in the year, you guys were raving about it)..and now that this new OS arrives with more features, but triple the amount of bugs. Wake up will you

i think mr mpc aka jahrome is just mad he dint make any money off this. it must suck to have to go back to a real job aftering pimpin out mpcs for awhile. you say this ish dont get to you but yet you keep replying to posts such as this. i think they get you more than you want to admit being its a forum huh
