if you have your track setup to play a midi pgm, eg: 'Pgm:No. 1' you'll probably notice the pads are set to the default drum map. if you go into mode 11 & press window on the note you can change the midi pgms note assignment. not sure if this was obvious to everyone else, but i just noticed it.
