ok. we now have really nice control over swing and visuals with the whole < and > thing the jj has in 8 err 6 pad grid edit.
however, we often don't want to record with a time correct on. we want to record w/ off.
however, when we do that, we lose visuals completely since the resolution skyrockets to 96 ppq.
what i want to see is a ZOOM control that is not linked to the current TC resolution, but works on the same increments.
this way, you'd be able to view the grid in 1/8th notes, but be recording in OFF tempo. or any combination.
this would be MUCH better for groove and editing. you could truly leave TC off all the time.
