Using fantom x as master

Im using my mpc1000 as the master with my fantom x but I want it the other way around. When I try the fantom as the master, it has a slight hesitation in the loop. Is anyone familiar with this problem??

Believe me homie...it's sooooo much smoother the way you have it now. I have the 1k mastering my Motif 6 and my fatom x6. I love it. I don't even use the other sequencers. The mpc's sequencer is a beast! and no timing errors or lad at all.
