Track Mute Problems

Has anyone else noticed some serious problems with Track Mute in OS 4.0?

Sometimes the track mute button doesn't respond when a sequence is playing. I originally thought my track mute button was broken, but it seems that if I press stop, then start the sequence again, the button works.

Also I've recently had a problem where tracks don't stay muted. They stay muted for one loop and then unmute automatically, I don't know if that's a setting or what, maybe someone could help me out with that.


Anyone else seen these problems? If this has been addressed already, I apologize, but I haven't seen anyone mention it.

Well, this is what happens;
I got a sequence that's a 4 bar loop. When I mute the tracks they all unmute when the loop starts over. I can't find the setting for this.
When I make another seq it all works fine, but when I copy the first seq to a new, the track mute problem also applies...

Anysuggestions?

The track mutes are recordable now, so you must have accidentally recorded some track mute info that is causing stuff to unmute... look in STEP EDIT and delete the track mute events.

YOU CAN SWITCH OFF THE TRACKMUTE, BUT WHEN YOU GO TO THE TRACK MUTE SCREEN, (UNDER THE BANK "D" BUTTON), IT SWITCHES BACK ON AGAIN , EVEN THOUGH IT'S BEEN SWITCHED OFF AT THE MAINTRACK MUTE EVENT, (THE WINDOW KEY WHEN MUTE IS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE MAIN SCREEN)ANYONE ELSE GOT THIS, BEFORE I SUBMIT IT?

I think this has been solved in OS 4.02. Don't know about 4.1X. I haven't installed it yet.

still a problem in os 4.11
pretty annoying too... having to go in step edit and delete the data

recordable track mutes should be optional!

it is dude you record the data in TRACK MUTE screen only , wats the problem with that and hit window when highlighted on MUTE from main screen screen
