Synching to Logic with MTC

Synching to Logic with MTC

Having real probs doing this, it's all over the shop.
I want my MPC1000 to be the Master and Logic to be the slave.
Anyone done this successfully?
I'd love to know how.
Anyone care to shed some light on the settings I need to do!?!?

Song Settings > Synchronization > General

Set sync as MTC

Should work if your MIDI setup is ok

Done this but Logic starts playing at like minus 8 bars or something and doesn't move...have you got it working or are you telling how it "should" work??
