How do I delete the factory sounds? and v3.06 vs 2.x stock

Hate these sounds. help me please.

Is there a anyone out here or a list about the EXZACT differences between Akai's os for the 1000 and JJ's free version 3.06 I Just upgraded to 3.06 a just to tryout this os but I can not find a list of what it EXACTLY dose. If there are links I am just missing let me know, or if some one who REALLY knows the differences would be considerate enough to post that would be good also. Please do not flame me or post one line responses to this question like. "there is less bugs" I have seen that said several times on this forum, I want to know about ANY functionality differences, implicit ones and explicit ones. I hope some one knows this.

you can download and use it without saving... so you can look for yourself. you can keep both os versions on the same memory card and choose between them as well.

Get the new OS. Give JJ your $30. You will not regret it. Search this forum all you want for anyone saying 'JJ sucks', or saying they regret spending the $30. I haven't seen any. Either we're all suckers, or the JJ OS is a huge step forward.

For the other thing - you need to learn about AUTOLOAD - read the manual, or search. At the moment, autoload is set on your machine to load the preset sounds. Youi can turn it off, or set it to load something else - then your preset sounds are gone.

im really happy with 3.06, its a huge step forward from the 2.01 OS.. The grid edit and the enhanced slice/trim sample edit page is just two good reasons... And i will probably buy the NEW OS when i feel i need to upgrade for now im more than happy with the 3.06..

edit: after the factory sounds are gone, how do you permanatly get rid of the factory program info. all the factory sonds are gone but all the program names still pop up when i start the mpc.

can anyone please enlighten me.
