automation vanashing

Is anyone else getting this?
On a few of my tracks ive recorded a volume fade on a track using the slider, but then when I reload it up the automation has vanished. Its there in the edit screen but there`s a blank space where volume should be

This is so annoying and it seems to be happening randomly.

if I didn`t explain myself properly here`s what I do step by step

I play an instrument
using the slider I record a volume fade
finish/save

Come back the next day and the volume changes have gone.

In step edit the changes are there but as I said with a blank space in the evnt part

If anyone can help me out or ios getting the same problem holla!
