timing correct + slider

i am groving more and more frustrated with this new jj os. Why can shift timing amount not be changed? +2 and - 23 seem useless to me... Plus this function does not work in real time as indicated in the english manual. I only recordes timing corrections. All together, at thispoint this is really useless to me. or am I missing something?

ok i get it in 16th mode you have + 11 an - 11 . and of course how could it be real time? but still do not find this very usefull. what would help me is to have the swing or shift changes displayed in the main window. In this stage the only the only thing that comes in mind for me is the following procedure: 1. record a track. 2. adjust the slider 3. record the change 4. listen to the change 5. undo, keep or overdub (but if you overdub you will never get back to correct groove). This might be nice to play around, but I doupt it will help me to get precise results.. Again another feature that is nice to have, but one that I will probably never use....

i think it only really makes sense to use the shift note/swing sliders in conjunction with Note Repeat.
Otherwise you won't know what it's doing.

The way this should be implemented is by assigning individual pads or entire programs in qlink window, just like all the other qlink parameters, to note value and percentage, NOT +- numeric shit.
This feature would be AMAZING if we could modulate swing (shuffle) in realtime over playback of a track.

i geeked out about how great this function is
although i too wish it could be realtime applied to whatever or all pads desired, i like it this way too because you can go over your seq with a fine tooth comb, overdubbing events while tweaking the slider to get it perfect

do NOT sleep on this function, it's very powerful. however, it's hand in hand with grid edit - if you're not taking advantage of the grid, you're missing out on the best of the qlink features.
