Ok heres my situation, I had a mpc 1000 and I bought JJ's OS, but I sold that mp because of pad problems and got another one. Is there anyway I could use my old password for my new mp? Or would I have to buy it again?

My guess is that you sold your password along with the old unit.... but you could try taking it up with JJ...

How did you persuade someone to buy an MPC with dodgy pads?

A quote from yourself.
trade my Mpc1000--->Mpc 2000XLMcd

Im not pickin on your or anything but it does sound kind of fishy dude. like why would u sell the mpc (plus whos going to buy it)
and why wouldnt you just get the pads fixed rather than buying a new one?

personally i think your trying to pull a fast one, but if not im sorry.
besides its only 30 quid, if you can afford 2 sell an mpc because it has broken pads and get another new one you can afford 30 quid!!!!!

peace

Nah I sold it to a local pawn shop because I was fed up with the pads, because as soon as I would fix a couple of pads another would go out and it got frustrating, so I sold it to the pawn shop to get a mp 2000 but I couldnt find one in my price range so i just settled for another mp 1000 at the guitar center(all blue Mpc 1000s' on clearance for $399.99). And I copped a mpd 24 along with it so I can use those pads without my mpc1000 pads going out on me again. IAnd no I didnt rip anyone off, I dont get down like that, real talk!!!!
