well, yeah,
my mpc takes more than 5 seconds to boot.

after i switch it on, i'll have to wait for more than 5 seconds until my hd starts running and the first 'mpc new os' screen shows up.
i think it didn't take that long before. could you check your startup-time and tell me? thanks!

mine takes a while too, esp if it's booting from a cold environment, but that might just be my cold brain sensing time longer

Due to the fact that the JJ OS is much larger and has more features than the Akai OS, I can see why it takes a bit longer to boot up. So it's a fair trade-off, as far as I'm concerned. 8)

yea i cant use my mpc cuz of this issue.. im in a hurry man..
