hey, I have my mpc 1000 now for 2 month and still have the following problem:

I convert my sequence to a song and then record the sequence to have a wave file of the finished song.

Ok the problem: My wav is about 10 times lower than the sound i made with headphones on the mpc. I have the record volume wheel fully open. How can i record a louder wav-file? Must be really easy? :-)

Whats the reason? (sorry for my bad english :-)

cheers

full level: this is only for the pads not? my pads are enough loud... i have the volume knob of the mpc only a little open and my recorded sound is not loud after the mixdown. I have to turn the computer to the maximum volume to hear it still not loud :?

What type of connection (Cables wise) are you using to track your beat out the mpc into your PC?

By thebuttonpresser Wed Jan 03, 2007 9:06 pm
i use chinch from the mpc out to pc line in... i dont think that the cables are the problem... i turn all volume from my computer full up, also that from the windows sound manager and recording software... and if i turn the compressor of the mpc on and make it louder it sounds shitty but louder...

hey pros what are your settings, cant be that difficult? just want to catch the sound like i hear it on the mpc.

i mean if i turn all up on the recording software its not half the volume as an bought mp3 file
