*TRIM SUGGESTION*

i sent this to JJ's email with a link to this page to see the Screen Shots in case he didnt understand my idea... Very Simple.. uses Unused buttons.
here is what i sent him:

MAIN -> MODE -> TRIM -> CHOP

i suggest [ERASE button] will move (SLICE_x+1) (right)
and [NUMERIC button] move (SLICE_x-1) (left)

*this will make changing regions/slices and adjusting the startpoints completely seamless

Agreed. I've been wishing for a shortcut to move slices. I figured something like SHIFT+UP/DOWN would work, but then I'm on a 2500 and the buttons are slightly different (we don't have a 'numeric' button).

How about using STEP < / >. They don't seems to be used in the chop screen, and at least it would be consistent between 1000 and 2500.

i checked.. seems like it would work the same BUT step < > is already a shortcut for ZOOM in the 1000 right now...

Oh. On the 2500 it's BAR <</>> that zooms.

same here youre right. but that means u gotta hold shift right? .. might as well click over and use the data wheel...

yes like the region selection...the part of the wav you are editing start/finish points.

i just dont like tryin to chop 16 chops..
and while changing regions i have to click over one.. scroll one right.or left...click back over to my start point.. and etc.. when i could do it with a free finger.. haha

i agree with this one. it is a pain to do the chops when you select your region, edit start point, edit end point, click over to region selector, select region 2, repeat rinse wash. i think thats what you are

don't edit end point, stick to editing start point only. It's the same (since start of slice 2 is end of slice 1) and much faster. Although I agree that moving between slices isn't really the best implemented feature in chop mode.

especially when you cursor over one too many and you end up changing the number of regions, essentially fuggin up all the chopping fine tunes.

Me too.. I hate it when that happens... I love the idea of a shortcut to change regions.
