Anyone know how to replace the "MPC 2500" screen on power up with a custom message?
Thanks
BTW for any smart a$$ out there It's not in the manual. :D
Thanks again for any help.

What a great way to endear yourself to the masses !! ;)

AFAIK, this feature is only on the JJ OS for the 1K at the moment. On that, you create a monochrome pic, 240x64 and save it as a bitmap on your CF card as MPC1000.bmp. As long as the card is inserted when you power up, the bitmap shows as your splash screen.

I'm sure that once the JJ 2500 OS gets to a similar stage of development, there will be a similar option.

Thanks Rozzer,
It can't be done on the 2500 JJ OS, maybe the Jan 30 release will support that
function.

Ah I hadn't noticed JJ had removed it. Damn, my beats sounded so much better when the MPC started up with "Hello Rozzer".
