Grid edit?

I haven't learned the new way of copy and pasting in the latest versions of the os yet. It used to be hold down on the tap tempo but I dont see that anywhere. Also how do I delete single notes. I have tried the shift key and window and tap tempo. I havent seen any of the commands in any updates so please don't "flame" me.

press the overdub button. it enables the 'edit' mode.
