Antonym - any chance of 1k tips and tricks videos?

I know you are experimenting with the JJ OS and getting some good results by pushing the new features. I often read what you have suggested but aren't sure if I always follow that well. Now a quick couple of videos would most def sink into my addled brain matter - any chance?

i work in a video studio and have access to editors/camera folk who owe me some favors.

what would you like to see?

freakin word. i'd like to see

1. how to lay out your pads so that grid display makes most sense, and how to make the most of grid - timing nudge techniques etc

2. how fast-as-recycle manual chops can be achieved on the 1k with the new jj chop

3. advanced layer and q link tricks - to get the creative juices flowing - i might not necessarily do what you do, but seeing what you do might make me think 'aha!'

yeah i'd like to see the same as well.
i'm still getting my feet wet with all the new features, since i've been trying to find the time and energy. so to see how nym's flying through alot of these things would be motivating for us.

yeah i'd be interessting in the 3th idea too..

the first two are just basic trial and error stuff in my opinion.. especially the new chopshop.. i learned it almost right away, just know how to use the buttons of the cursor and the bars right for zooming and moving between your chops and your good too go..

as far for grid edit it's really a matter of what you like most i guess..

anything else anyone wants?

these vids won't be for the weak of heart - my mpc has no lettering so i'm not gonna be able to say what buttons i push--rather what functions i'm going through.

Definately wanna see those grid and qlink techniques you speak so highly of. Possibly the realtime timestretch technique you explained previously too.

i'll be using simult pad while demonstrating WSLs, and i might use reason as an example but i'm probably not going to be showing how to hook everything up, etc. mainly because i don't really think about that stuff anymore and i probably should not be the one who is showing people how to do that.

you do realize that this is like a third of the questions people ask on this forum now, how to wire and MIDI the MPC to software.....
