Can it be done? I need to return the mpc that I put it on because one of the sliders does not work.

as far as i'm aware its specific to each machine - might be wrong - so no, you couldn't sell it on. Not 100% on this though

yeah, just load the orginal Akai OS. Bring it to the shop, let it repair and when you get it back load the JJ OS again. If they give you a new MPC, you have an different hardware ID or whatever it is called and you could explain the situation to JJ I guess. Or just tell JJ already before.
