I could be missing something here,
but I haven't had this problem.
I've been finding audio tracks to be working quite nicely with the latest os.
Here are several things that I think would improve the functionality of audio tracks...
When recording, I would like the option for the sequence to play one sequence loop before recording (instead of using a count in), then start recording at the beginning of the sequence (like a punch in record), and then it would be nice to have the option automatically stop recording at the end of sequence or a quarter or half bar after the sequence (like a punch out). This would make recording instruments and things much easier.
Also, it would be nice to have the option to disregard a take at the end of recording. Similar to what's in the regular recording mode.
It would also be krump if we were able to have an attack and release setting for Audio tracks. For the release, i'd like the ability for it to start the release at the end of the sequence, so that the track would crossfade loop. It would be a bonus if this release worked when track muting.
These things would bring it a lot closer to being killer looper.
I guess I should send JJ a request.
