whats up all...I'm assuming after searching through some old posts about this that it's not really a common problem, but I figured I'd post up HOW I FIXED the problem anyway.
PROBLEM :: I went to buy the PW for my new JJ OS upgrade, and when I put in my Product ID and my paypal email address and hit continue, I got an error page all in Japanese, and I could only make out "HTTP Referrer" in the top middle. One thing I knew for sure was this wasn't the page I need to be at to get my PW.
So...what did I do? CAME ON TO MPCFORUMS NO DOUBT. Searched for the problem...found a few posts, only 1 or 2 that really addressed it though(not a common problem, i assume). Best part about it was in the couple posts I read where people were havin the same problem as me, once they figured it out, they didn't put HOW THEY FIXED IT, they were just like "YO NEVERMIND EVERYONE, DELETE THIS POST, I FIGURED IT OUT"
...well....I got the same problem...you figured it out...HOOK IT UP WITH THE ANSWER! POST HOW YOU GOT THE PROBLEM FIXED!
SOLUTION :: Now I'm not saying this'll work with everyone who faces this problem, and I don't think alot of you will face this problem in the first place, but FOR THOSE WHO ENCOUNTER THIS PROBLEM, my comp has norton internet security and that was the problem. I disabled it and went back through the process of buying the PW and it worked out fine. So, if you got some kind of firewall or something along those lines, and you get that HTTP Referrer error, try disabling it and going back through the process.
Might be a small, rare, problem when dealing with JJ, but that ONE PERSON who is trying to buy their PW and gets that error, here's how I fixed my problem. Good luck with yours.
