Here's something I'd like JJ to do, I thought I'd run it by here tho because it feels wrong submitting feature requests on the bug report page.

One thing I find really confusing is in the Trim screen you zoom in and you using the function keys while trimming a sample, but when chopping a sample you use the Bar keys, I would like it if the Bar keys could be used in both circumstances so you don't need to have to use 2 method to do essentially the sample thing (trimming samples & tidying up chops feels like the same job to me).

For people who are used to using the function keys they could be left working but I think it would be nice to have the Bar keys also work as zoom controls when trimming a sample.

What you all think?

no one else find this awkward then?

I agree with you, would be cool to keep this consistent!

It would be cool to also implement the "retrigger when scrolling"-functionality found in chop shop which is a real time saver imo. This way, adjusting the start and end points of a sample in chop shop or regular trim mode would be identical!

Oh good, I'm glad someone agrees :D I've actually sent a message to JJ about it, see what happens.

What do you mean "retrigger when scrolling"?

When you're in slice mode, hit a pad and keep it pressed. If you now scroll to change the start point, the sound is being triggered every time you move the wheel. Really usefull to pinpoint the exact location of the transient of a hi-hat etc!

Ahh ok, I hadn't noticed that...I'm just kind of used to repeatedly bashing the pad as I adjust :D

I guess if you really feel you would like that back you should email team JJ, to be honest I have no idea about how they/he feels about recieving feature request rather that bug requests but I sent the the zoom request to them and I'm sure they must be interested to see what people are thinking.
