swing & shift timing on qlink in realtime

my goal is to manipulate the t.c. values of a track in realtime while the mpc is playing.


in the manual this looks very easy, but it seems to work only in the t.c. window ( the values change when i slide the faders ) but in the main screen it doesnt change anything ... even when i press the after buttons and enable overdub. is there anything i missed ?

it is recorded in realtime, but it doesn't effect notes that have already been recorded. doesn't work after the fact. i at first wanted it to, but not anymore since i use it very differently now.

it's primarily for editing your grid stuff. if someting needs a little nudge, delete it, adjust the qlink, and put it back in. much easier on the data wheel/quicker than moving the ticks. less number based, more intuitive.

i was thinking in this direction as well, but wasnt sure.
