Mpc2500 is the real

How do you use the mpc 2500 as seq of the vst instruments of cubase?the problem is that I got my cables in and out in the mpc and the sound card and thant when I'm on a track selected in cubase it stop playing this channel when I stop selecting this channel...for exemple in the mpc 1A midi
and i'm on cubase 1A too.If I stay on the one A it's ok but if I want to get on 2A on the mpc and 2A in cubase,it won't play the both but just one of them so please somebody help me please

You will have to dig into your Cubase manaul and look for the Input Transformer function. This function allows you to set each Cubase Midi track/instrument so that it will respond to only one MIDI channel.

Also, you can do a search in this forum using Input Transformer to see what you come up with.

I think you need to activate the input monitor in Cubase for each of the channels you want to hear. It's the little speaker symbol highlighted in orange right next to the record enable button:
