editing an audio track

hi! I´m new with the JJ os (just today!) and I was wondering if i can filter what i have recorded in an audio track... lets say i record in an audio track a loop i played with my synth... now, i want to filter that audio track that i´ve recorded... how can i do it? the audio tracks is not asiggned to a program so i can not play with the fliters and stuff...

You're right, since there's no programm associated you won't be able to use the filters.

What you can do though is set the startpoint in the sample to the first audio you recorded and create a new program. Then record an event that triggers the sample at the correct timing and you'll be able to filter the sample in the new program.

Did you figure out it's possible to record into audio tracks while the rest of the sequence playing when you hit "overdub" + "play" instead of "record" + "play"? Makes all the difference!

I figured out that i can make a program with the audio track (as in the official os), i was just wondering if there is a quick method to add a filtered to something that you recorded on the fly... It would be also great to be able to hear an audio track without recording... I mean, in the offical OS, you can have your synth plug it to the analog in and play with it when the other tracks are playing without actually recording (direct recording mode)... In the JJ you have to record to be able to hear the sign..... Of course you can press record and later delete but it´s´more shytty than just hear what you´re playing without recording
