Hi I am new to the forum. Good group of peoples here! Quick question I just purchased the 4.42 version and under pad 11 there are only 2 options 1 shot and note on. How would you set a pad/sample to loop and hold and is there a way to get it to act like say a simple sp roland sampler? Sorry if this a redundant ? but I used the search feature on the site without success. I am used to the sp 808 and mc 909 groovebox types which I ditched last year for this and the machinedrum uw.
Thx

set sample loop to on, pad trigger to note on

i forgive your ignorance here because it was not immediately apparent to me either. jj's manuals leave something to be desired.

but if you mean a pad 'hold' function, then no theres no way, unless you just turn up decay on the amp envelope page to maximum.

loop n hold??
set sample loop to on, pad trigger to note on
now
holding your pad, press twice numeric button /on any numeric field/
it works till u hit that pad again,
u can loop n hold more than one sample, change a seq >> still playin!!
im not using this especially so i didnt explore that/could be a 'bug' but its still there since i dont even remember

When trimming down samples drastically, it sounds much like the "Jessiah's Glitch". 8)
