Can someone explain briefly how to use the PC in the main screen?

if you have a synth that will respond to program change messages, set the midi out for that track to the channel and MIDI socket the synth is a ttached to, and adjust the program change to skip through various presets in the memory of the synth.

Also shouldn't the velocity lower the amplitude without having to on the actual keyboard I'm changing programs on? It's not changing a damn thing for some reason.

P.S I just installed JJ's 4.44 today I was using 3.06

Love it by the way!!

i think the velocity value only works on the mpc's sample engine, though i'm not 100% on that.

Nope, works on midi as well, maybe the sound you are playing has no parameter linked to velocity?
