Ive owned my mpc for about a week now, Its the first mpc ive ever owned (newb in this department) im used to my daw sequencer SX3 my tritons sequencer and my Rm1x (which i loved but now has no place because of the mpc).

Mpc has changed my life my workflow has increased 10 fold easily and with that jjos its rockin (if you dont own it buy it).

So with in a week i have mastered most the basics as they are simple and trial and error has showed me loads. And i totally agree RTFM its a nice and simple manual (if you dont agree buy a triton and see the manual on that-- thats a **** more of a reference guide).

My problem is on JJOS4.4 (bought and paid for) I just saved an evenings work . Half a song nearly. I chose the save all option evrything samples sequences song pgm etc. Then a message came up Autoload (cool its gonna load everything for me) 17 sequnces 14 pgms and approx 48 samples.

I power down...

switch on later autoload (cool i can get back to my track) press play no sound WTF!!!

Think shit i gotta load all my samples up where did i use them argghh go to load and find when i do it sample exists WTF

Where are my sounds do i have to reprogram each program surely not???

sorry for this long winded one but any1 else experienced this have i missed something when saving?????

2 things you may have missed:

1. You may not have completed the saving routine. Make sure you make it to the final "Do it" button and check that the files are on the drive afterward.

2. You may not have noticed that there is an SEPARATE, ENTIRE FORUM on these pages specifically created for JJ OS topics. In other words, don't ask here -- ask there.

I find it easier to make a project folder and saving entire memory in there.
