what i meant was that I'll record some pitch automation into a track, and it plays fine, then sometimes after the sequence loops the automation is gone and the samples pitch has returned back to the original. or sometimes it records fine and I hear it and then I stop and start the sequence again and the automation is gone.
sometimes, you may have the sound of the latest qlink setting, after youve recorded some movements - but as you restart the seq -the first qlink value (at the top of the seq) resets the sounds . mbe? just a thought, it often happens to me like this, but i figure thats normal.
i think its a bug actually, it seems like the after button doesnt seem to work on things like realtime pitch - or rather it resets everytime the sequencer starts.
i would swear that in some of previous versions (like4.39 or 4.41dont remember exact) it was working fine:
lets say i had cutoff1(track) recorded with q1 + few corresponding notes.
press after on q1 > ovdub + playstart >> recording new q1events >> turn off after key before seq end >> ovdub punch out >>
sequence s playing from the beginning > i can hear new q1events to the moment ive turned it off with after key.
now with above procedure when sequence s looping i can hear "old" q1 events affectin notes/ not the new ones i've just recorded. when i hit stop, than playstart i can hear the new ones **** must be a bug
i'll have to play around with this more. i made a beat on 4.44b the other day and didn't notice anything wrong- but then again it didn't have any qlink data in it...
