Basic Sampling Problem I'm Having

what's goin on everybody, i'm having a newbie issue i'm sure but I couldn't find out the answer, it seems like i'm having problems sampling in audio correctly.
I sampled some basslines and they sound fine but are only playing on the left side of the stereo spectrum. Is it not possible for the mpc 1000 to sample in stereo, I do have the latest jj os, if there is a work around you guys are using or know whats up please let me know. I hope it's just user error.

you need to change the record input on the record screen to stereo if you want to record in stereo

or if you are recording from just one of the inputs and want to change your mono to play in both L+R I believe there is an option if you go to TRIM and then EDIT you can change a panned stereo left or right sample to play both channels as mono. I've never actually tried it but I've seen it in the options and I think that might be what you were asking.
