sorry if this has mbe been touched upon in that other thread re: mpc1000.bmp, but it would be sweet to be able to set the duration that the splash screen stays on. and also to have a folder of bmp's on the root - to randomly select one every time u poweer up. or sequence through em in order - like a mini animation gif type affair.

idea to improve the splash screen seems so unecessary. are you gonna ask for pacman or zelda next ? :lol:

i think it would be great to have the 1k be able to play an avi file on startup. fukk it why not intergrate windows live messenger too....

arebee, i know you're well intentioned, but this is going too far. if you had a tool set, would you get it gold plated? :lol:

hey i use the 1000 for sequencing visuals too....works great with sync by the liveact...i need a s-video out or dvi :P vid-in/out is also usefull..muhaha

I think the MPC is more than capable to support pacman... not so sure about zelda...

what about Zork? that for sure can be supported... :lol:

i'm sure its easy, tax free, all that, cos once the start up's done, the mpc is in no way compromised. i just like the spalsh a lot, wanted to see a bit more. its hardly a fkin skin job.
