first, this place is really cool, and the mpc makes much more fun and
sense with the jj-os (the akai-os prevented me of buying an mpc before)
but after toying around with this machine some questions (the documentation dident anwser or i dident find it) floated up:
in the grid edit mode, when the sequencer is running, the cursor moves with the sequencer-position. is it possibile to stop the cursor moving so i could move it with the cursor-keys to set and erase notes while the sequencer is running (and in overdub-modus).
unfortunently also with the jj-os,i have to stop the mpc (after overdub etc) which is sometimes annoying (synced as slave and playing live...) wouldent it be possibile to implement some sort of auto-sync -> the mpc counts the midi-clocks when its stopped and when pressing play it start itself on the next (master-sync)-bar?
and at least, i think i found a bug, while editing a programm with mode-11 (made with auto chromatic assignement, really cool), when i select 'WHOLE' in the filter column and press 'WINDOW' to change all envelops, it only changes one. is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

many thanks for help and sorry if these questions are allready anwserd somewhere

not yet. many people have mentioned that they wish they could do this. i too think it'd be incredible. however, it seems like that may present a big strain on the processor, but who knows!

as for your other questions i'll need to sit down and check em out. it'd be really cool of you if you already found a bug in one of your first posts. finding bugs here (at least to me) is like treasure, because you're actively making the os better when you report them.

good to have you on board.

can only be done while in overdub mode with the erase button!

But that option would be cool..
