hitting "play" on sample while browsing HD/CARD

you notice how jj coded in the ability to hit "play/playstart" while in "load" mode? i liked that a lot. i thought it was a pretty smooth thing to do rather than holding the damn pad the whole time.

so -

enter TRIM mode
while on the sample hit WINDOW to bring up the sample list
what if you could hit play/playstart and have the whole sample play here?

that'd be MAD convenient and isn't a new feature so much as a new shortcut - shouldn't take up much code space....

yeah, i like the "play/play start" feature too.
if this could be coded into trim mode as well, that gives us the perfect solution for not being able to hear the whole sample from a pad, as you descibed in the other topic.

i like this feature a lot, but it only works on some samples... somtimes, when i press play, the sample play one shot, but sometimes i have to hold play till the end of the samples (note on). don't know why...

maybe it has to do witht he length of the sample, thats what i noticed

Yeah, I think so, too. It only works for longer samples.
