HOW TO INSTALL JJ OS???

Im new to mpc's...
Just downloaded JJ OS 4.55. How do I install it?

Place the .bin file on your CF card and insert into the MPC. Then you have 2 ways of installing. Firstly, you can start up the MPC, go to the load screen, find the .bin file on the card and update from there, or you can power up the MPC whilst holding down the WINDOW button. It will find the OS on the card and ask you to confirm installation.

well, to get that straight:
those 2 options are possible if ure loading from any of ver.3.0X

if ure loading from akais os 2.1 or less
only the 2nd way will work

That's funny, I thought you were right, too. I never actually tried upgrading from the Akai file browser while the OS was running -- always thought that feature was "JJ only".

Does this work for anybody else?
