MPC gone crazy

yesterday i installed jj osv3.6. Everything worked fine until today
I turned the machine on and it gave me the ==MPC2500 OS UPDATE==
screen, the bin file that was on my cf card and DO IT. I pressed it and it loaded the os. The mpc booted up but now everything is **** up. The erase screen keeps coming on, some lights are half-lit, and whatever i press it just keeps doing other things.
I have already tried installing previous official and unofficial os' s but its still **** up.
Does anybody know what is going on?

with the unit turned off just keep running your fingers over the buttons on the MPC.
Just keep doing that for a while then do it on the pads for a while.
Sticky buttons and/or false pad triggers can make the 2500 go crazy since they select features and functions on various levels.
The unit should not just boot up and give the ==MPC2500 OS UPDATE== screen unless you asked it to by holding the OPEN WINDOW key.

never had this problem, but sounds scary try doing system reset, forget which button it is at start up, it's somwehre in manual.
