Mixer Request

Would it be too difficult to get an option to choose your out as: "OFF" in the mixer section, basically it would work as a pad mute function, seems simple enough.

What would you need that for? You cant record mixer output changes, that would be another new feature and might be a bigger one. Just use q2 to mute the pad in the mixer.

if you want to mute a sample and its monophon, just hit the pad again when you want it to be muted, go to step edit and set the velocity to 1 and the sample-start-position to 100. you won't hear it and it mutes the sample played earlier.

if you have an poly sample, just choose an empty pad and set the mute pad to the sample you want to mute. now you can hit the empty pad to mute the sample.

Thats even better, its the way i do it too. Never edited sample start, velocity 1 works by itself.

I like using just one track for all my drums (now that we have grid mode), when i work i sometimes do different variations with different drums, im just looking at having that off feature in the mixer as a simple way of flicking pads on or off, if i had these on multiple tracks i would use pad mute.

It would just be a convenience for me, no biggie, like you said i can just q-link it off with the mixer but i don't usually have the sample at 100 in the mix, pain in the ass to get it back to the exact level i had it.

w.e though **** it, I'm just acting lazy, just thought about it the other day because i don't think it would be to hard to implement, more like just a little change in the coding
