MOVE in grid edit

Are you guys using MOVE in grid edit ?
it used to be buggy (would mess the other tracks sometime), and i wonder if it is fixed.
for a while i did not use it (because of the bug), then yesterday used it once, did UNDO, and the events desappeared rather than go back to where they were. this is probably a different thing though.

so i would like to hear about people using "move" a lot, and if they encounter oddities or not.

i didn't even know that there was a MOVE in grid edit.

i just use tap tempo and the data wheel/up and down buttons to seize a chunk, then i copy it and paste it elsewhere.

move is same way as copy. select a chunk with tap-tempo. move is F6 instead of F2 for copy.
of course i don't desperately need it. but sometimes it comes handy. i just like to know my gear and to use it 100% really.

anyway I just noticed quite a few other small bugs in grid.

for instance when twice the same pad is selected, then it can mess the visualization (the squares for the pad, or next selected pad are not displayed although they are there).

Or when switching tracks in grid (F1 + jogwheel), sometimes there is no events displayed. then need to change of track in "main" and back to "grid" to see the events.

Or when changing TC for single events in drum tracks (that's really useful), just exiting the "edit" (top of screen) can lose the modified TC (setting goes back to what it was).


but to end up on a positive one, the zoom in and out (shift + Fkey) for midi tracks really kicks ass

nobody else noticed the other bugs i described ? looks like people don't use grid so much after all.

i most definitely notice the weirdness in display sometimes, that notes appear in squares adjacent to the ones they're supposed to be in, although the note itself is actually in the right place, it's just displayed in the other place.

i noticed some more of those bugs too but have a difficult time reproducing them.

i should just videotape myself working and point out bugs as they happen....
