Erase.

Why is it when i go to erase something it doesnt say hit the pad you want to erase. Its just says something like 0(C .2) -127(G when it used to say Pad 16 or something?

Check your track type.

Pad numbers -> Drums
Note numbers -> Midi

By any chance do you know how to extend your pad length hit after youve finished your recording. I tried looking in grid edit but theres nothing to extend the note?

Midi or Drum track? In midi tracks the length is shown, but only after you press stop. For a drum track select the note, press overdub and f5 (edit), field "D" is for duration.
