Considering a swap to JJ OS

Hey Everybody,

i´m cosidering to swap to the JJ OS on the 2500.
But it seems like you have to update it pretty often, how do you deal with that? Doesn´t that piss you off?
Do you have to backup your data before update, like in the AKAI OS?

And is it a big difference compared to the AKAI OS?
Cause i learned the 2500 just right now, and I don´t want to be thrown back because of an OS swap.

Yeah that´s what I did yesterday and it´s great so far.
The chopping is the shit now. Even my hard-drive wasn´t wiped after the swap
I´m really feelin that OS.

I´m gonna cop the 5.0... Version for sure!

it's free to try. it might not be your thing but in that case, just go back to the akai os.

You don't have to upgrade everytime a new version is released!

The way it seems to work is nothing is release for a while, then a substantial update is released, this is normally followed by 2 or 3 updates which fix the bugs in the new version.

Therefore the way I tend to work is not update until I see an update with something new I want or something I want fixed fixed then wait a couple of releases until it settles down then upgrade. I then don't upgrade again until I have a reason to.

Obviously if everyone behaved like me bugs wouldn't get found so quickly so thankyou to all the people who upgrade with every release
