Autochromatic/Program ?

When creating a new program using the auto feature is there a quick way to turn the volume down on all pads within the program or is it just individually? Also how do you delete and/or rename a program you don't like?

did you try "global program edit"?
to change the name/delete a pgm on the pgm screen put your cursor on the name of the progam and press "window"

you do it the same way as in OS version 2.1 it's in the manual

My bad never looked at the akai manual. Got the JJ right away.

Actually fono answered it..

but for the first question, go to global pgm edit, and press f6 (i think) for WHOLE and then just go over to the volume section with ur cursor and all the pads are selected, and any chagnes you make go to all the pads.. same for tune, and shit like that.

for the second question go to program mode, highlight the name of the program up top with the cursor, and press window, move the jog wheel to change the name, or press delete to delete it..

Also, i personally read the manual and followed along, then followed the mpc1000 ebook from this site, before going on to JJ. for two reasons, didn't have 30 dollars and wasn't tryna rock the beta. And cuz JJ is basically the original OS with more shit added on to it and more stability. its not like Mac vs. PC or something.

Yeah I keep spacing to look at the lit up window key. I guess it kinda acts like a right click on a mouse, as in it brings up more options.Actually I go to global program edit and there is purge on the f6 key. If i go to pad 11 there is no volume or lvl option. My guess is each pad has to be leveled individually. Thanks

k i was at school... but lemem turn on my mpc now...

mode+pad 11 ... f6 = "whole"

ur **** up by going to regular program mode dog..

All i see is here is adjustment for tune, play mode, and voice. Where is this volume or level adjustment for the "whole program"?
