I've come to the dark side

I'm digging the JJ OS. Anyone here used to be a 2000xl user? You know the press window everywhere thing to get to parameters? Is there a "secret" like that in the JJ OS? I briefly peeped the online JJ OS manual and I think it may be something to the effect of holding a button and pressing the up cursor. I could be totally wrong. I'll RTFM eventually so none of that response please. Just looking for navigation tips.
