I spent this entire week jus browsin and searchin thru posts and it seem to go w/o sayin that the jj os is a no question....

but i'm sayin tho.. I'm coming from the original mpc1k and with the original s/w on it.. and fo sho IT does everything i need it to and more...

so what im' tryin to find out is how exactly would i benefit from using the 3.06 version of jj os?

i mean from the posts i read its a big improve over the 2.10 from akai and it seems the biggest things i'd be checkin for is the time stretch and pitch shift capabilities... RIGHT?

1. on the 3.06 can you preview samples w/o havin to "load" them 1st or that not an option yet or ever?

2. i done searched the website and the forum here.. it seems that the 3.06 is a FREE working version that even allows you to save..am i correct? cuz the jj web site says for the 4.xx version LIMIT is save until have pwd, so i take tht to mean that i should be able to save on the 3.06?

just basically lookin for some feedback and input from you guys that done used it..i mean its a gang of posts that jus are ravin positive about it..."like trust us, jus switch, you'll love it", or like "its the best INVESTMENT i ever made", ect, ect,.. believe me i been researchin this... and regardless i'ma try it..

but i just want to know how DOPE it is i.e. in a real world experience like yo i use it to do this.. ect, ect..

i tried readin the manual but w/o it on my mpc its a bit dry...

but yeah im' pretty hype about this and i got my guy to d/l it for me on a mem chip so hopefully this weekend i can get it done...

and yeah best believe now that summer is here i'm walkin everwhere , the money i'ma save from not buyin a bus pass i'ma use to the buy the full jj os version...

but yeah good lookin out and lookin fwd to that feedback...

The shift button is no longer needed with JJ. Just press the right cursor button one time to get to the individual digits.

Welcome to the JJ OS. Now you see why we love it so much. You couldn't pay me to go back to that Akai OS. ;)
