using the audio thru, I can't see a way to associate the q link sliders with filter freq and resonance which was possible with the Akai OS. Am I just not finding it or has this facility really been replaced with the reletively useless pich shifter?

i really agree on this point, i really don't care about real time pitch (further more it can't work while playing a sequence...)
i would prefer filters (which is still there) to work with q links

because of the way I work live sadly I have to go back to the Akai OS for the time being just for this feature :(

it hurts, help me JJ

I really miss this feature too. I'd also like to be able to record input thru q-link data to a track, so i can do automated fade outs and filter sweeps whilst scratching. I guess that won't be possible if the os memory is pretty much full.... but id like to hear otherwise!

i agree - i'd like to see the real time pitch shift scraped - as it's to CPU intensive.
And replaced with a filter & LFO on each of the left and right inputs.
also the filters can be controlled by the q link sliders.
this really would be useful.

yep, realtime ps is boring, its like getting yer knob out onstage or on the train whatever, actually thats way more interesting than the realtime ps.

the qlinks dont even work the pitch in any intuitive way, so i'd say scrap it too....mbe give space for more improvements, just when JJ thought 'he' was safe to back out the programming suite.hehe

I hope so - if anyone out there can put the idea across to JJ that would be V good...
the realtime pitchshift is a waste of cpu, when it's on -

1. selectable LPF/BPF/Notch filters on the left & right inputs
2. 2x LFOs to controls the filters.
3. also control of the filters using the q-links as well.

Yeah I was surprised this wasn't possible. I would love to be able to Q-Link the LPF and bring in a bassline from the very lowest bringing it up bit by bit
