Something that would most likely be easy to implement (in a perfect world?)

Assignable outputs to the headphones.
So while a sequence is playing, you could listen to samples, prepare programs to sequence and "queue up" fx/notes/programs/tracks while the MPC is playing a sequence. This feature would be really handy for anyone doing live performance...

So what do you think guys? (where are all the female mpc users at?)
Can it already be done? or what was I thinking thats an awful idea...?

Is it wired directly to the PCB stereo output?

It makes live improvisational performance (a task where efficiency is a most valued thing) so so easy...

couldn't you use a dj mixer and your assignable outs?

main outs on channel 1.

assignable outs (let's say 3-4) on channel 2.

keep your fade on the left. cue using headphones on the dj mixer and channel 2.

then if you want to "preview" a sound you just make sure it is going to output 3-4. should be the exact same functionality you are asking about.
