Help with loading samples

I loaded some samples on my card and when i put the card in my mpc, just one sample repeated itself. Example, I loaded 5 different snares but only one snare shows on my mpc 5 times. What can be the cause of this??

do they have long similar names? Or the exact same names?

they have similar names, but not the same name. VEH1 Snare 1, VEH1 Snare 2, and so on.

Hmmmm, I ask cause I had a similar prob when I had a bunch of samples named similarly and the name was so long that it went off the screen. Well the MP only played the first sample cause it thought they were all the same file. So if this is the case for you, shorten the names and it should work, in theory. If not, Holla back, we'll get it sorted out.[/i]

i just renamed the sounds and loaded them in and that worked
