changin swing realtime in play mode

I really hate this, stopping the sequence and change the swing, and then go back and play again and listen if it is good, then go back change it again etc etc etc.

it would it be nice to change the swing while the mpc plays, that way i can really choose the best swing, without going back and compare, remembering, going back compare and compare etc etc

edit> actually i,m running jj 3.06 but i think this is still the same in the latest jj os ? well if it is not, or it would be added to the latest, that would be the reason for me to buy the jj os, otherwise i,m fine with 3.06.

Actually spending money on a product first before complaining might be a good idea.

unless you are a newbie, you should know how to set your swing without to much trouble (it is either too much or not enough, not really difficult)

and if you are a newbie then give yourself a bit of time. features will never replace experience.

anyway, the way swing and the sequencing is currently implemented, i doubt this feature would be easily feasible, if not at all.

in the paid for jj os you can use qlinks to adjust swing and shift timing NOT in realtime, but you can move it while you are recording to get a difference in swing/shift.

this is perhaps one of the most powerful tools when you're recording ghost notes or say you have a note on the upbeat that you want to have a different swing - just scroll to it in grid edit, delete it, adjust the qlink for swing, and redub it in.

this is how i do all my drum/sample editing now - i rarely view anything from any more than 1/8 grid resolution (i'm using double tempo rez) with swing on qlink 2 to edit - helps to give you that "TC OFF" ability while viewing everything from a reasonable grid resolution.
