Slider (pitch shift)

Q: why cant i set the slider under pitch change, position it and record its position... when i hit record it resets the position and i have to slide it back to place while its recording... almost impossible to shift the pitch (w/ slider) when you need it done right @ the beginning of the beat.

well, jj did it the way he did, thats the reason why. but you can go to step edit, hit record and place your pitch-value wherever you want by moving the q-link.
