Swing added to my recording in Cubase???

Swing added to my recording in Cubase???

I am messing around with MTC and cubase trying to sync up my MPC with it. For reason when I record audio into cubase it adds some weird swing to my drums. For instance when I have a hat playing on note repeat 1/16 on my MPC, and I try recording this hat into cubase, the hat sounds like it was recorded with Swing added to it. I can't figure this out. Iv'e added extra bars in front of my sequence before the drums come in, syncing at different frame rates yet I still have the same result as I had when I am using Midi clock.

Has anyone had this problem? Help anyone? thanks.

Check out the ticks per quarter note settings...

Ok I will do that. Thanks for the reply.

Later on I tried setting the MPC as the Master and set it to MTC and MMC. For some reason my hats didn't get recorded as bad, but were recorded as played on the MPC. I don't understand what MMC does, though.

I have two more questions.
1. I know you need to add at least one blank bar before you sync your DAW and the MP. Do I add the blank bar on the MPC?
2. When you are setting the frame rates to match what settings do you use on your DAW and MPC?

Do it on both

i use midi timecode now and have the mpc as the master - it does not make a difference on my set up if i have the mp set at 25 or 30 - cubase detects a "new framerate"
this is using 4.69 os on mpc and SX3
