How to safely disconect on MAC?

I need to use a friend's mac to download 4.72. My hard drive on my PC went, and I just need to know what the safe way to disconnect from a mac is? Thanks in advance...

Or you can drag the drive to the garbage can, or you can right click the drive and select "eject disk/drive".

select the disc and press apple + e keystroke.
