Help with 4.73? What happened?

I downloaded version 4.73 to my flash card. I then inserted into mpc1000 and then loaded 4.73, it aked to turn off the mpc and then power back on.
Then this message came up when powered back on:

MPC1000 BootBlock Ver: 1.03
Boot on emergency mode
A compactFlash card was detected.
Detected FAT16 volume
OS file searching....
OS file searching....
A correct OS file wasn't found.
system hault......



Can someone help me out and explain what happened and what to do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

don't know what this is, but jst download the newest os again, put it on the root of the compact flash, boot you mpc while holding the window key. it will search for an os again, so you can reinstall it.
if it still doesn't work, try a different os version.
